Tree of Life + Health: You Belong To Life

The Tree of Life is a vision that shows up often for me, in art + song, in meditation + journeying. Is symbolic meaning is central in many cultures, including the culture of my Nordic ancestral lineage.

A recent distillation of all the knowledge, experiences and connections gathered to support Human Health lead me to the Tree again. A distillation meant to find coherent communication that orients you to the nature of my Clinical Consultation Practice.

The Tree of Life holds the big picture vision for the purpose of my work. The elements that make up the Ecosystem of the Tree correspond with elements that make up the Ecosystem of Practice that I offer. The first element is explored in the following paragraphs.

WE ↠ BELONG ↠ TO LIFE

Our experiences in Health and all areas of our lives reflect the World around us. We belong to web of life.

We can find insights + possibilities for balance by taking note of all of life. The patterns we see in nature can be seen within us.

Within the decade of experience tending gardens, in both a personal and professional capacity, familiar patterns continually show up. For instance, if I see a particular plant is not thriving there are questions to ask before taking action. Does it need more water, or less. Does it need to be moved to a more sunny location or does it need more shade?

A similar ecologically minded inquiry can helpful when constellations of symptoms arise for people. What pattern is leading to the symptoms? For example if someone is having joint pain, are they getting too much movement or not enough? Do they need more lubrication in their joints or are they swollen with stagnant fluids? Ecological inquiry before taking action hones the outcome.

The Ecosystem of Human Health inherently correspond to the Ecosystem of the Tree of Life.

With the overarching understanding that we are a reflection of the world around us in various ways, the inner workings of Health and the Clinical Practice Ecosystem are where we can go next.
